Hello! I'm very excited about sharing this pattern in this nook, since it is a little design that can help beginners to pick up some new stitches and it can help using up some of the scrap yarn we all have in our stash! Also, it's very quick and can be a pattern that saves us when crocheting a last minute gift! This pattern is named after one of my favourite places, a little area in the island city of Portsmouth, that has characteristics cobblestone roads, a view of the ocean, many pubs and so many people spending time fishing. I used to live nearby, and I always wanted to go there to look at the sea and grab a pint in the local pubs!… However, the ocean carries a strong cold wind almost everyday there, and there are fishermen wearing gloves and beanies to spend the day there… With this chunky knit-like look, naming these fingerless gloves after this area was a must!
